Got Snow?

Glad I went for that long drive yesterday in the sun with nice dry roads.
Here is the road today.

Désolé... But in God country it was 23 Celsius (74 Fahrenheit).

Great ride and no problem getting to Operating Temperature :)

yeah. but wait till April when winter really hits there. while we're going topless.

JJ 911SC 10-27-2012 04:26 AM

Wish it would be like last year, topless the week before X-mas...

Its not that bad, since I got the car I've always been out (and topless) on the 1st of April except the year I drop the engine and the "while you are in there" took over :D

Hopefully going for a long drive tomorrow, before putting my baby away for the winter. Anyone in the Hamilton area up for it?

Christien 11-03-2012 04:04 PM

I wish. I'm hoping to get my car back on the road for a bit more driving before I have to put her away for the winter.

haycait911 11-03-2012 04:16 PM

still no snow. maybe next month ;) I am getting tired of all the flowers around though

Man that looks miserable, no snow here in Port Coquitlam yet but I still have the bear in my backyard 3 days a week.

A good evening to sneak the car to the storage location, going to be a long few months without the 911 in the garage. Atleast the Cayenne can and the wife's car can sleep inside for once.

How do you like your Cayenne?
We have been looking/thinking of getting one

We have the same problem as the Chum salmon (the confluence of Hyde & Smiling Creeks) have just about finished their annual spawning run & the rotting carcasses have a few of them strolling through our backyard on their way to lunch. Although this photo was taken in the spring of this year & it wasn't as big as some (probably a yearling +), it is a fairly common occurrence here. I managed to take this through the patio door window.

As far as snow goes, our fellow Pelicans in Calgary seem to be taking it on the chin. I'll take today's weather any time.

Cheers

The Cayenne is fantastic. We have an 2008 Cayenne S and it's a perfect car for me. I needed a daily driver that had some hauling capabilities, so the cargo room is sufficient, not huge, but good. The fit and finish is excellent, and the driving dynamics is wonderful. I wish the car was more up to date though, as many competitors had features the Cayenne doesn't. Bluetooth is one. Maybe a more modern nav screen. And covering some tuition so I could learn to program all the features. :)

I've been pleased with it and if and when I warm up to the new Cayenne's very Murano like design, maybe move into one of those.

Timing is everything...

Went for a top down ride at -4 yesterday, decided it would be the last one so I filler up, put some stabil and drained her up when I got home.

Wake-up this morning to the white caca :(
