I "might" be building a couple of Megasquirt systems this winter if you're interested.
Another semi local guy would like to do this. PM me if interested. Still wouldn't be cheap, but it would be a lot cheaper than that system. No such thing as a cheap aftermarket FI system. I'm installing a SDS sytem on my 1967 bug with a type 4, 2600cc engine A pic of my motorcycle throttle bodies I'm building for it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1385920097.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1385920128.jpg |

My TB's are for a 914 type 4 engine (4 cylinder), that I have modified to upright fan and I'm putting it in my 1967 VW beetle with a 911-901 transmission. They are Suzuki TB's. SmileWavy |

I was going to go into the shop today, but chickened out and played in my garage instead. getting motivated to finish the 3.4 because I'm assembling the bits for a 3.2 twin plug MFI and this ones gotta be in a car before I can start.
fun day in the garage working on the engine and watching 'long way round' again. if you like bikes it's a great series. Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman ride a pair of BMW's around the world. interestingly, over a distance ridden of 30,396 km, 115 days, and twelve countries, they only had two accidents. both were hit by other drivers, over two days, and both in Calgary.......... Long Way Round - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1387769682.jpg |
