Thumbs up What a drive........thanks Rolf

Last Sunday in rural WA with beautiful sunshine.
7-8 Porsches was the right number for some spirited driving.
The green Hornet tried to keep up to the Colibri on the hill to Nespelem but...... 2.7 liters vs. 3.6 is no contest even with after-market rubber Piloti's.
Look at that sun, hard to believe when looking out the window now.

Small tours work well...........

yup, you went up that hill pretty good. what happened on the downhill side? I thought maybe you had your e-brake on, or were dragging something. possibly stuck in second gear?

heck, we were so fast we had to stop for lunch to let everyone catch up.

best driving shoes ever, and stylish too!

and here's Gunter communing with nature. top half only, nobody needs to see what's going on below.

much thanks to Rolf and Deb. fantastic drive and a wonderful group of people. and I think the Boxster actually had to work a little bit. really liked the metropolis of Synarep. the ladies seemed to enjoy the mall, and that pub where the guys hung out was great too. hitting there at rush hour was a bummer but it all worked out.

Cool

Yep, that Boxster is a winner, great find....

As a dedicated environmentalist, I subscribe to wetland restoration and hugging trees.

Love booting it uphill but not downhill for a number of reasons one of which is the increased wear and tear on brakes and tires, ......way too much G-force,
I love my Baby Colibri.

This time I slowed down after the hill-climb to give others a chance to catch up, LOL, plus, I didn't want Don's wife to think he bought a lemon huffing and puffing uphill with those shoes, ha, ha, ha........

Ferdinand never imagined clompers like that working the pedals in one of his creations.

The last time I saw pantoufles like that was in Holland, but they were made from wood, LOL

What are Nogs?

actually, it's my wife's car. she just let me drive it for the day. every time I do get to drive it I want to run out and buy one of my own.

and really, how fancy does footgear need to be when driving a slush box?

Nogs???
