just called the hotel again. they won't be set up to take our reservations till Tuesday.

it'll be interesting to see what all the tree-hugging granola types think when we roll into town

maybe we better recruit a couple of flower-painted Vanagons to run interference. something like this... it's even mostly conda green.

The Best Western in Abbotsford is less then 1 mile to the north.

We decided on Nelson because it is really a throw back to yester-year. A beautiful town with an interesting mix of folks. I always enjoy my visits to Nelson.

Yup, lots of tree hugger granola types, but that is what makes Nelson so different from other towns. They might heat their homes with wood stoves, but their cars are fuelled with the sinful petroleum products out of the Alberta tar sands.

Love that area...Did the Targa West thing there last summer. Beautiful drive.

Charlie, please change "rrental" into Sam and Erik please ! And we will take the 930 as the 911 will be a Flinstone car for most of 2014....

Also, please put us down for the Vernon meeting lunch.

Don, will you be driving the Vanagon? Sure you can fit one of your well tuned flat sixes in there.....

Charlie, i'm sure there are still a few Neslon vehicles running on petroleum products, although bio-diesel from recycled cooking oil is popular there and I suspect someone's probably inventing ways to produce ethanol from the leftover stems etc after the BC bud is harvested.

Not sure there would be much leftovers after making the hemp clothing.
