WTB: engine number 6208326 (currently installed in 911 VIN 91111011452 ?)
 

Hi

I'm looking for engine number 6208326.

The engine did surface in 2008: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/447256-vin-engine-i-d.html

I contacted the poster, Max, who unfortunately did not buy the car, nor did he have the contact details, but he guessed it was advertised locally somewhere in the Vancouver area.

As stated in the link above the engine was mounted in the car with VIN 91111011452 Anyone who knows about this car is welcome to contact me.

Any ideas on how to bring it back to the surface would be most appreciated!

Is there a way to find the current owner of a car in Canada by searching on the VIN number?

Not down to the owner names.

In Ontario you can get an https://www.ontario.ca/driving-and-roads/uncertified-vehicle-record assuming that the car was register at some point in Ontario.

Also, it may not work on pre 17 digit VIN.

Yearly bump

I know where engine # 6101942 is. Digging thru a buddies stash, I've found 5 of 6 heads, the crank and rods, most of the covers. Its close, not sure if it would work for you tho.

620....... is 70E MFI and 610 a 70 T carb engine.

Time for a bump. Still looking!
