Looking for 911 engine in Alberta
 

Looking for any good used engines in Alberta or Western Canada. I have a 77 with stock 2.7 (not running)
I am, looking to possibly upgrade, 3.6 or even a good rebuilt 2.7or 3.0 with carbs. Seeing what might be available

Next time you come to Calgary, stop by my place on the way. I will show you what you need to do to get your 2.7 running with carbs. If you go Zeniths, you can do this for under $1500 (even cheaper if you can find an inexpensive set of zeniths). I will get you a set of 34mm venturis at cost and help you with the jetting.

This is pretty easy to do, you get better throttle response, and it is reliable. It does hurt fuel economy but this usually isn't a big concern.

don't bother calling GTR auto in Calgary, sheesh, prices were insane.

If you go carb i have zenith carb with manifold for 800.00 cnd + shipping and ill check inside if they are no corosion.but they have be rebuilt.
