Toronto Aircooled Meet | Aug 15

Calling all Aircooled owners, friends and family!


Porsche Centre Oakville has offered to open their cafe and front parking lot for us to meet on Saturday, August 15th for a morning of aircooled greatness over some lattes! The goal is to have a super-meet with all local Aircooled Porsche groups to showcase our beautiful classics starting with the 356 all the way up to the 993. Please save the date, and help make this event epic! This is a great opportunity to come together and meet new people, talk about our cars, snap some photos...(maybe even go take a quick peek at the new jaw-dropping tech our Aircooled Porsches helped develop).

The Scoop:

What: Aircooled Porsche Meet
Who: Aircooled owners, friends, family, porschephiles
When: Saturday, August 15th, 2015 starting at 8AM
Where: Porsche Centre Oakville (250 South Service Road West Oakville, ON L6L5N1)
Why: It's Porsche season!! Awesome cars, awesome venue..... ummm, seriously, why not?!


Please post in the thread if you are planning to come! I'd love to get an idea of the numbers as we approach the date. As always, all Porsches are welcome, though since this is an Aircooled focussed meet, we ask that the water-pumpers park together! And just a note for ALL Porsches, please, please, please, park reversed-in so that we are all uniform for the photos.

Just an update:

1. Weather is looking really sweet! Fingers crossed that any rain or chances-of hold off until later in the afternoon! There are a few special cars arriving that will totally melt in the rain; so.....fingers crossed that the weather cooperates and they will come!!!

2. Please park within your Porsche model/type. If you see a group of 964s and you're in a 964, go park with your buddies! I realize this will be hard, but if everyone has this on their mind, maybe we can just wing it and be (for the most part), organized by Porsche type.

3. Once we run out of room (this is highly possible!!) on the dealership grounds, please park on the side of the road on South Service and on Wastegate Rd.

4. If you're arriving not in a Porsche, please park away leaving room for Porsches. (THANK YOU!!!)

5. HAVE FUN! :P

It was a great little event! Parking was at a premium! Many nice cars there! The singer was the highlight of the show for me.
