Question for Ontario guys

Hey Canadian gang,

I am planning to sell my 1989 928 S4 to a friend and co-worker who lives in the Greater Toronto Area. The car is an extremely original, original paint, low mileage, black on black 5-speed with manual and limited slip diff. Awesome car.

The issue is that this buyer is not the DIY or "gearhead" type. To sell him the car in good conscience for him and for the car, I need to know the name of the best spot for him to service the car and prepare it each year for going into and out of winter storage.

If you know the best shops for older Porsches in and around the GTA, please send along your thoughts.

My buyer lives in Oakville so anywhere west end of Toronto is close including Etobicoke, Mississauga or even Burlington.

I would insist on the purchaser joining UCR. That will hopefully get him started.
The UCR web site has a list of the approved tech centres for the DE program. Here is the link...

All these shops know P-cars to varying degree. Others will surely chime in with their specific recommendations for the 928, which, after all, is a pretty rare and unique car.

That link has a great list for a starting point and yes, it would be great idea for him to join UCR. I hope others chime in with referrals for the shops they have used and know to be knowledgeable and fair.

I have dealt with Brent Hunter at Hunter Motorsport in Mississauga and also Zoran at Zorrotech in Stoney Creek. I can recommend both. Both guys are very knowledgeable and helpful. I can't speak to 928 specific knowledge.
