where's spring?

After tinkering all winter, the 911 is almost ready for the road but... where's spring?!

You guys too?!? There's still 3 feet of snow in my backyard and they're predicting 5-10 cms more this weekend! Argggh! Where's that stoopid groundhog?.....gonna get me a pelt!:p

I think it's happening everywhere... while it's generally mild out here in the winter, we've fallen way behind in the past month or so. A typical January day is 8 above and rainy but by early April, spring proper should have been here for quite a while already... yet it was about 8 above and rainy today, and has been for weeks.

The weather has been much like a skipping record... the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and...........

It's not here.
21* F right now. Calling for 1-3 inches tomorrow.

Actually drove on March 5th and a bit yesterday both times around our area picking some local clean dry roads. Everything works. 😁😁😁

Unfortunately more snow today here in Muskoka.

Been driving everyday. This is why I fixed and kept the heat in my car.

Your car is so stunning, Johan! It must get so much attention that you must have caused accidents! LOL!

You guys with galvanized bodies are so lucky - salt and slush terrifies me!

Your car looks great! I've been following some of your threads - glad you're enjoying it after all the work you've done on it.

Thank!

Actually no salt. That's the one upside of the weather in Halifax. Every time it snows there is guaranteed to be a rain fall a day later.

Thanks Michel. Likewise, your car must get allot of admirers.
I’ve noticed that the number of comments, personal experiences and inquiries is directly proportional to the outside temperature. Even got one rather risqué story from memory lane about “.....this stunning blonde I was going out with in high school and I borrowed my dad’s 911 and .......”.
Anyway, it better warm up as we are off in the RST mid month to the U.S. to meet with some friends and also do our annual pilgrimage to the Hershey Swap Meet on the 21st.

April snow showers bring snowflowers...
-13 C this morning and snowing lightly.

Admittedly the weather is grinding me a bit right now....

Another overcast dull grey day out here on the 'wetcoast'.

Cheers

Went up to the cottage this morning where I keep the 911 to find close to 10 cm of fresh snow. A PCA friend came to see the 911 and talk about our cars while there was a blizzard as we had a coffee - felt like January. And I foolishly thought I could push the car out this weekend, start it, get it warmed up and start tuning it! Ha!

Yes, Johan, my car does get attention, usually in the form of smiles, thumbs up and approving nods. It generates a lot of positive energy! Kids are really drawn to it and ask what it is. I love answering their questions cause I know the seed is being planted - gotta keep interest in our cars alive so that they keep their value!

Some local PCA guys are going down Hershey. I'll tell them to look out for your car. I wish I was going just to see it!

Love the video Michel!

And yes a fresh dump of the white stuff greeted us again this morning.

Very funny! But oh so true this year. It's a Monty Python winter - absurd and not dead yet.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1523667745.jpg

Very accurate... we're hunkering down for 3 days of freezing rain and snow in Ottawa.

Is you car ready for spring, whenever it arrives, JJ? Can you give us a preview?!
