History This little car is odd. All original and no bondo. Has a name of Larry Cottrill engraved in targa. It is all original and the stampings look as if they were done yesterday. One of the first imported 914s in America. Has a build stamp of Dec 1969 and serial number shos it as the 1600th one built period. US speced and several people have told me that this is the earliest AMerican number they have seen. Who knows. This car was sold from a salvage site as a unknown history but clear title car. Any clues to how a vinatge ,rust free car could have made it to a salvage yard in OK?? I don't know but she is home now and will be loved forever
