History	Purchased in 1985 by a Naval Vietnam fighter ace who imported the car from Germany. He was an ex 'Top Gun' instructor for many years. Ownership was transferred to his son who lived in Boise, ID. It then lived in Anchorage, AK for nine years stored in an aircraft hanger with many other classic Porsche and Jaguar exotics. I purchased the car in October 2010 with all records dating back to the original import papers from Germany!! I replaced the factory Sport Seat leather in 2011. 2012 I rebuilt all four brake calipers and installed new rotors and pads in the front. I also installed a Steve Wong Chip for the Euro 3.2 engine and removed the cat install the original Euro 'pre-cat'. This with the higher spec Euro engine should put the power in the 240-245hp range! The butt dyno says more! I pulled the engine myself in the Fall of 2014 to fix persist oil leaks. I replaced all and any seals, resealed oil cooler, new oil return tubes, adjusted the valves and tuned the car up with new plugs, cap and rotor. Removed the A/C bracket and pump. (30+ lbs!!) Replaced ALL fluids in the car. The clutch had been replaced about 10K and was perfect, so I replaced the RMS and re-installed the clutch assembly. However, a few months later, the shift fork cracked and soon damaged the throwout bearing attached to the Pressure Plate. Live and learn! I also replaced the rear shocks with Bilstein Sports. The fronts are good. Spring 2015 I pulled the engine back out and replaced both the shift fork and throwout bearing. It shifts absolutely perfect now and runs flawlessly. I spent 40+hrs polishing and then waxing with Griots garage car care products. It is near flawless and now a 9/10 on the exterior.
