The indi blue Mini S with white rims is gorgeous, but the wheel maintenance is a killer.
Dustless pads have been around for years, and although not perfect (trading dust for rotor wear), I think I'll convert. Ideally, I'll do front and rear, but start with front only. Anybody do front brake work on the Mini yet? Due to the wear sensor and lack of manual, I thought I'd ask for any advice or nuances from typical german car. Any retraction tool required to open / maintain caliper clearance while installing new pads? Any pads that have proven quiet, dustless and not toooo hard? Thanks! - Mark

I've heard good things about the EBC Green Stuff pads not being as dusty. But - even the stock pads get better as they bed in.

Its been 1500 miles since Green Pads installed on front of MCS. Braking is same or better. Dust is 90% less. Definately would do again. Now ordering rear pads to do same back there.
If you have white wheels an are considering it.....Go For It!
