I drove this car last night and am buying it

I drove it for the first time last night, metallic gray cooper S 6-speed. I'm completely sold on everything this car has to offer and am ordering one this week sometime, I'm going to get it in British Racing green with contrasting black roof and mirrors, sports package, on-board computer and the leather wheel with cruise control. Anything else I should consider? The car I drove didn't have the 17" wheels that the sports package comes with, so I'm assuming mine should handle even better. Anyway, thanks for your input guys and wow what an awesome car, I am still impressed.

later,

amir

Go with the sport package, it ads zenon's, sport seats and the 17" wheels. Mine finally came in 2 weeks ago, no looking back.

I drove one today but it was just the Cooper not the S because they sold all the test drive cars. In California the mark up is 15% so a cooper S is about 25-30 thousand. Ooch but I absoluty love the car and am going to get it soon. The power for the S is 163HP.
And I also drove a Boxster on the lot got to have it also man that is a sweet car as well.

I would not settle for such a high markup. Dealers on the east coast sell at MSRP and have little or no wait. I am sure you could get an S and still come out ahead with shipping costs.

East Coast

Come to the East Coast to got one. Heck, the majority of the people here still don't even know what the heck they are! Same goes with P-cars. Not much of a "luxury" market here, so prices are usually comparable.

makaio, yep got it. I bought it from Classic Mini in Mentor, Ohio and had it shipped here to avoid the $3,000 dealer markup here in So Cal. It's a great car, here's a link to some pics (H&R springs and Alta Intake installed so far):
