Can a scissors jack be used in place of the factory jack as when I got my '03 MCS it had no jack, lug wrench just the small bag with screwdriver and tool to remove the hub caps and a 13x10mm open end wrench and a socket. I picked up a 1 1/2 ton sicors jack and 2 wheel cocks and a plug in air compressor and a bottle of slime for emergency tire repair.

If the jack is used properly and you jack in the correct place it should work fine.
