Are there two different 5 speed manual transmissions for the 2005 Mini Cooper base model R-50, VEC Code: RC33, Eng W10. I have one mfg'd date 2005/03. I thought I heard some where some changes were made to the 5 speed transmission around that time.

I believe as of 2005, there was only one 5 speed manual gear box.
