My 2002 MCS is overheating, not really sure why but i'm guessing it is the thermostat. Took it to the dealer, said the head gasket was broken, i turned on my car the day before and it did not show any signs of a broken head gasket. There is coolant in the reservoir and no leaks anywhere. any suggestions??

I would pressure test the cooling system. If the system will not hold pressure and there are no external leaks the head gasket may be faulty.
