R56 Coolant thermostat water pipe replacement?

we have the pipe but is there a diy video on how to replace it as we cant quite get to it from the bottom of the car and have started to take parts off from the top side to get to it.

No article for it. Remove the thermostat and intake manifold. Once those are out of the way, you can get the pipe out.

Yes, removing the thermostat will give you access to remove the water pipe. Don't forget to remove the clip (# 3 on diagram below) on the end that holds the water pipe to the thermostat housing. Look at figure #15 here for the clip: MINI Cooper R56 Turbocharged Engine Thermostat Replacement (2007-2011) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article. The water pipe is sandwiched between thermostat and water pump. The pipe that connects to the water pump is just pushed onto it with the o-ring (# 2 below). Pull it, and rock it a bit as they can get baked onto the water pump. It's extremely difficult to remove the water tube without removing the thermostat housing as things are very tight in the back under the intake manifold.
