R52 ambient air temperature sensor location
 

I am looking for the ambient air temperature sensor location on my 2005 Mini Cooper Convertible. Can anyone send me pictures of where this darn thing is located?:confused:

Hello Taz! Welcome to the Pelican community. I believe the sensor is located behind the front bumper. If you look at the lower grille on the front bumper you can see it if you shine a flashlight to the left of center at the drivers side. Here is a picture below of its location from our tech article. If you need to remove it you can remove the front bumper easily by using this article here: Pelican Technical Article - Mini-R53 - Front Bumper Removal. Image below is from figure #11 in that article.
