Thanks Nick for these instructions.Both the transmission plugs on my 2006 MCS are 8mm hex keys. Your suggestion to purchase an inexpensive hand pump worked well. Here is my question, I installed a crush washer with the drain plug, but didn't realize the fill plug should have a washer as well. How critical is that? If important I will install washer next time I am under the car.

I would replace next time. BUT - A lot of people re-use, I never do, for prevention of issues. You will probably be ok though.
