2005 Mini S Convertible - lost all 12 volt power. Replaced battery and found standing water and lots of rust on all terminals. Replaced 200Amp fuse at battery. Still no power to anything in vehicle. I have 12 volts to the positive jumper cable lug at engine compartment but no 12 Volts at fuse block under engine compartment. Ideas? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: MINI Cooper Battery Replacement and Battery Tender Installation (R50/R52/R53 2001-2006) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |

I would check the fuses under the fuse panel, in the engine compartment. - Nick |

You'll want to also figure out how/why water is getting into your battery box. I have seen individuals with standing water in their battery box have to replace the battery along with the module next to the battery (#2 in the diagram below HERE) and the battery cables. Check all seals in the area for a leak. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1497026106.jpg |
