I have a 2007 mini cooper s it started surging and running bad after i had the thermostat housing changed now it won't idle and is running like crap what could be the problem any help would be appreciated

I would start by checking the DME for fault codes. If the system is not working properly, a fault code will be set. This will be your best bet when diagnosing.

Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. How many miles are on your R56?
