Hi!
A few months ago I purchased a valve cover and replaced my old one thinking that the lack of pressure was do to the oil leakage on my car. I followed all of the steps you posted here and now that it was time to change the spark plugs I noticed that there was engine oil inside the cylinders and also on the exterior. With my old valve cover I never had oil inside the cylinders, only on the exterior. I don't know or think that I did anything wrong with the installment. What do you think is the cause of this issue? Thanks! __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: MINI Cooper R56 Valve Cover Replacement (2007-2011) | Pelican Parts DIY Maintenance Article |
Faulty or improperly installed spark plug tube seals or a damaged valve cover.
