It looks like the facelift 2018 model MINI will see a redesigned taillight with a Union Jack design (similar to what we saw from the teaser of the JCW GP Concept), LED headlights with a redesign of 360 degrees DRL, a new color introduction named Chester Malt Brown, a new MINI logo for the hood and trunk, new interior stitching, no power increase, smoother operations, lower CO2 emissions and more.
Sources say, "MINI is focusing on redesigned headlights and taillights as the key identifiers for the new models." As for the Union Jack LED taillight design this will be optional on some models and standard on others.
There will be a 7-Speed MINI DCT, which replaces the current automatic on specific models of the F55, F56 and F57. And there will also be an 8-Speed MINI Automatic, which previously was only available in the Clubman and Countryman. It will replace the current automatic in the F55, F56 JCW and F57 JCW.
