908 & dual plug RSR distributor parts / 908 MFI Pump / Balancer unit

Just to clean out the attic ;) NOS 908 complete distr. 4sale. Distributor can be recurved to specific specs The MFI pump is NOS as well but overstored and need checking /readjusting. Both items where matched for a street usable car missing some topendpower. The MFI pump has a mechanical coldstartdevice. Bosch Dual plug Cap & finger NOS from 1995. Modified standard 2,7 distributor to 2,8 RSR specs, dual contacts with new Finger and cap from 1988. Dr. Reutlinger & Söhne KG balancing bench. This unit was used in the factory to random check all incoming goods and to work out finest balances for race applications. The unit comes complete with all the factory special tools for all pre 1997 cars since the 547 engine. Covering Flywheels ( incl. DMF), cranks, cams, harmonic balancer, rims ( up to 20" race rims ), brake rotors, axle studs, axle shafts, bearing carrier, cooling fans. The base units ( 3 different benches ) had been updatet to full computerized balancespoting and documentation. However the computer is a AT 80286 operating on C and Turbopascal. The program calculates f.e.: the needed deepness to drill the balance This program also checks and alows to adjust the tools. However all documentations are in german and mostly handwritten from the operator. The units will fill a european type garage if you like to work with them ;) Grüsse |

No response on this post. No marked for real stuff in the US ? The 8 cyl stuff is not aviable anymore ( trade offer ) and the spare cap & finger went for friendly 800 $ to switzerland. ( thats some 40% from the last years official new price ). Maybe i can testdrive the RSR as feedback ;) But they are so loud and hard plus will stretch your eyeballs and the seats will slap into your neck under full throttle. People who like that might be slightly masochistic. Rest is still aviable. Grüsse |
