Not surprised victor. If I could get rid of the wagon then I'd do exactly that. However the wagon must stay & that means for the time being that a go-fast suby is not on the menu. I think a stripped out 2.5l rex in about 3 years might be on the cards. Get rid of a bit of their fat & it would be a bit of fun. The other problem I had was that with the old sti, it was quite fast on the track (when someone else was behind the wheel anyway) but just wasn't quite up there in the fun factor. A stripped example might be a different proposition altogether.

Then again - I suspect a quick prb would show a clean set of heels to all of them if I was just looking for speed.

Yes lots of choices but I dont see how having a play station in the car will help things - though thanks for the suggestion.

Main point I was making about the prb is that if you're just looking for the fastest way around a track there's plenty of more appropriate and less expensive vehicles than a 30 yr old porsche. That does not really bother me as at this point I'd probably enjoy pottering around a track in a corolla. So yes, many options but given the pocket's not infinitely deep, the c3 will be seeing a bolt in half cage & a more appropriate seat. While not ideal it will have to do & should be more than fun enough & quick enough for me for the time being. If time & funds allow in the future then a more appropriate track toy may come into play - but then there's plenty of other things in life worth doing as well. c3 targa compromise for now & see how we go.

Had the same debate myself
Keepthe car original or make it go faster and stop better.
Anyway, I ran it on the track as is and had a heap of fun.

Gave up with the mod's as i realised it'd go around a lot faster if I was a better driver
