Guys,
I've got car trouble - I haven't driven it in about 2 months, since my new fuel pump went in: charged it up and went to start it, but there's a fuel issue - I've got my mechanic coming by to look at it Wednesday morning, but until it's rectified I don't know if it will be a goer, or if I can trust it on a trip like this. However - if my mechanic gives it a clean bill of health, I'll be there with bells on. I should know more tomorrow. Talk about timing...

Okay, after PMing all the people who initially said they were confirmed, so far only 3 have replied.
2 have said no, only samoc has said yes, he is coming. Still waiting on 4 more replies to confirm. AFAIK, samoc and I will turn up tomorrow morning, but it will be good to get a better idea of the numbers.

Hey guys - still no news from my Mechanic. He's had it running, but believes that the issue is something to do with the fuel pickup inside the tank. He managed to get it going by jacking it up on one side, meaning the issue is inside the tank.
/sigh - so looks like I'm out. Sorry to everyone (particularly Erwin who's organized this), I really wanted to come along.

Okay, this run is cancelled at 7:23 am today, the day of the run!
Basically Oz SC PMed me saying he's also pulled out. Samoc and I exchanged SMSes just now and we decided that since it's just the 2 of us, we should try to do it another day with more cars. Therefore, this run is cancelled for today, and back to bed for me!

ok, so was i the only silly one to show up? i guess so!!! still went on the drive, took the same route on the map! great road, great drive. went to the innocent bystander car park, hoping to see a couple 911's in the car park. had morning tea at the beechworth bakery, (which is in healesville??) still had a good morning. we'll have to organise it again soon. i move interstate in august, so we'll try and get one in before then.

Yikes!!! Sorry about that mate, I was afraid that was going to happen - since you didn't confirm, I figured you might not show up, as everyone else pulled out. So Sam and I figured we would do it on another day. If we had known you were going to be there, we would have showed up... grrr....
We need to have a better system of organising this run - next time I will collect everyone's mobile number for better coordination. Again, apologies.

Mine is the dark brown "mocha" 930 in the back row. The one in the front is a Kremer

Ahh nice, I thought that was the Carrera, the gaurds dont look out there in the pic. Yep I know the black car, it's been for sale for a long time, has a Kremer intercooler and tail but looks like it still runs CIS, would like to know the other specs of the engine.

Agreed, mine dose look a little skinny in that photo. From memory the Kremer is CIS, has twin plugs and SC cams. I've been for a few runs with the owner and he certainly looks after it.
