30 mm bolts and bosses

I'm on the hunt for 30 mm by 6" long bolts with corresponding nuts, washers, and bosses for installation in wood. Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, nothing. I'm Googling it, wondering if anyone here has an idea.

I'm using them to mount these on an interactive display allowing them to be re-positioned

You should have a Fastenal near you. They will do business at the counter and they will help you find what you want.

You don't happen to be creating an exhibit for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, are you?

I accidentally wandered into a McMaster carr warehouse one time.
8 days later the search and rescue team found me

They have everything, or can get it.

Sometimes a 30mm wrench is really handy.

Ordered bolts, washers, nuts from McMasters, thank you very much. Josh does not know where to get the M20 inserts.

We have a winner.

The hands are travelers.

You should look into doing exhibits with them. Part of my practice is vetting exhibit contracts for major natural history museums. Your work would be in place with them.

Ok, now I'm going to guess that you're building a trophy for a Pikes Peak race. (?)

A trophy appropriate to reflect the driver, crew... the whole team. (?)

I am not the sculptor, an artist friend, Eddie Phillips, made them. I'm trying to build an attractive interactive display that would allow them to be re-positioned at several poses. I have the bolts, washers, and nuts; I need M20 thread inserts or anchors.

I wish. Alas, it's just a hair-brained stunt; the hands travel with me now, as an homage to the artist. Have hands, will travel.

Found 'em

Thank you @widebody911; McMaster-Carr has everything I need; search is on for the plank of wood, exotic or old barn door? Both.

I was driving around the other day and actually saw a sign for exotic wood...no idea where now. I remember thinking, I'll remember that.

Mock up

I can see I'll need varying lengths of bolts. The ends of the wrench need to be stopped by the washer held in place by the first bolt. The second bolt/washer secures the bolt to the base. I wonder how hard it will be to cut these nuts in half, I doubt they have thin ones.

The title came to me, "Wrenches with Appendages"

Backing plae #1

Had a couple of these things lying around. I never figured out what plants have shallow roots and killed everything I planted in them.

Made an OCD positioning grid out of 200 lb kite string on the back side. MCMasters-Carr bolts, washers, nuts, inserts, M20 tap, 30mm bit

First try determined that insert hole measurements cannot be eyeballed, must use ruler and protractor.

Eyeballed dead center by accident.

The artist was commissioned to make an indoor set, based on one of my pics.

I took a shot playing around with them and he asked me to post the pics on FB with public setting.

I got another set for the garden art piece. It's getting planted out back

Almost finished

My intent was an inter-active garden display. I added a second set, maybe more. Guests are encouraged to play with it.

Making it windproof. I had to add two cinder blocks in the grill cabinet to keep it from blowing over.

I think I'll remove the dirt on this side and add river rock.

Tap it.

Insert it.

One more set, half a dozen more anchor points, then it's done
