Ever since the Russell Wilson experiment worked (for one year), I find myself hoping Wisconsin will land someone in this way every year. The Badgers regularly struggle at recruiting QB talent beyond the mediocre.

These guys transfer now like free agents in other sports. They all have some form of an agent helping them. It's not like they doing this themselves.

Sort of. Jalen, Russell and Kelly Bryant (former Clemson QB) all received their degrees in under 4 years, thus creating the ability to transfer without having to sit a year aka "graduate transfer". Justin fields wants to transfer and NOT have to sit out and lose a year of eligibility. Not sure why he believes this rule should not apply to him, but that is why he hired an attorney. I am sure it will be some sort of "hardship" angle.

Personally I'd like to see him with OU but there is also speculation that Jalen could end up at Miami because of the Major Applewhite/Houston connection.

I don’t think he will come to the Sooners. They have Kendall and Mordecai. Just signed Rattler. If they get him it woukd be three straight starters that they didn't sign out of high school. Don't want to be known as the school thwt never plays their highly ranked qbs.

If he ends up there....I think Kendall transfers, Rattler red shirts, and Hurts and Mordecai battle it out for the starting position.

I did a little more research on this and ran across a bookie's site that listed Auburn as one of the schools that are on the short list. Now THAT would make next season really interesting!

Not much being said from the school. As expected. Fan base was about split on gettimg Jalen before the Kendall news. I haven't really checked in today.

Wouldn't that just figure - Ducks open with Auburn at Jerry World. Last time we were there was on my wife's birthday in 2011. Tough day for my alma mater made for a nice birthday for my little LSU grad.

Here's hoping Hurts doesn't want to operate behind an offensive line that was horrendous in 2018 and that's returning virtually everyone that performed so poorly last season.
