Mini-ceptor in Tucson......if closer I'd be very tempted.......
https://tucson.craigslist.org/mcy/d/tucson-1986-honda-interceptor/7810909081.html 1986 Honda Interceptor - $1,200 (Central) This classic 1986 Honda Interceptor 500 does not run. It has all the parts needed. The tank, fuel system, ignition switch, and some plastic decorative parts need repair. I’m the one and only owner from day one. I quit riding it in 2019 due to injuries and unfortunately let it sit since. It’s been stored covered outdoors in the shade in Tucson Arizona. The tank rusted on the inside but I’ve had it cleaned and sealed. The Ignition key is currently stuck in the tank lid. The oil and coolant has been kept full and fresh. Front tire it dead but the rear is in ok shape. Shocks, brakes, clutch, chain, wheels, headlights, taillights, indicators are functional. No battery installed but electrical system was working. It’s a project but not a huge one. https://images.craigslist.org/00u0u_...5_1200x900.jpg |

Thanks, Shaun....that was pretty cool!

I had an SR. Mad props to her; starting them isn't always pleasant.
|
glad you liked it, I love watching her videos, they are so calming and relaxing.

Also reminded me on my bucket list is the ability to master a pair of chopsticks while dining Asian cuisine! :p |
Most of her videos are travelogues, that's what I like about her channel and how well crafted each video is. She has a great eye for details in telling a story.

I'm not purchasing any more motorcycles this year, but still have a couple hrs to shop. Latest 2015 F800GT.
I will never catch up to Baz at this rate. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1735671780.jpg |
NICE! Congrats! FTR...my neighbor owns over 60, so I'm not even in the picture as to who to chase on ownership.....lol.....

Ok, 60 bikes is likely time to get help. I would not want to try and keep up with maintenance, just the cost of tires alone. |
Get em while they're hot...

It was 59ºF yesterday here today. All I could think of was taking the bike out but had a nice day with the gf. So many mistresses, so little time.

Several requests for running video were ignored. Nonetheless I think the seller did pretty good. I paid >$2K for mine....and was able to pick it up locally. Historically on B.a.T...... https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-honda-xl175/ ($3,950) https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-honda-xl175-2/ ($11,250) https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1975-honda-xl175-dan-gurney-aar/ ($10K) |
Just put a lift table in my storage unit that has electricity. Pedal power - not hydraulic. Picked it up at Harbor Freight today using a 15% coupon. Ran just under $500. Same unit as I have at my house. These things are freaking game changers when it comes to motorcycle service, restoration, and repair!
Have to return and tighten a few nuts with my impact wrench before using. It really won't take up any more space because I envision always having one bike on it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736714802.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736714802.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1736714802.JPG |
