1970's car id
Not an interesting car, I'm sure, but what is that 2 door car just to the left of the clock in this photo?

1970 Ford Capri
Not a Capri, it’s an AMC
^^^ Looks like an early 1970s AMC Hornet Hatchback coupe.
I looked at both to the above, and neither seems correct. The Capri and the Hornet both had a concave rear line, even on the hatchback. The car in the photo looks convex. And I can't find anything that matches those tail lights.
The bumper in the photo almost looks like someone did a home repair. I really should not be spending my time on such a meaningless search.....:D |
Mercury Bobcat with a home build bumper?
I was wrong about the Hornet. I agee with dafischer that it’s the Spirit.
I think you nailed it. Later 70s model. SmileWavy

My first thought was the Mercury variant of the Pinto..the Bobcat.
But I think it may well be the AMC. |
AMC spirit.

It looks better than most of the other cars in that picture (and of that time). It’s a pity AMC died out.
This was a case for death.
My grandfather's 70 Ambassador wagon. Drove it for several months while I was between functioning Alfas in the late 70's. Ughhh... Family Truckster http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1538881530.jpg |
On the left, what is the second parked car from the bottom?
Looks like a BMW 320i.
Looks Japanese to me. Maybe a Datsun
Saab Sonnett was my guess. Window in back all wrong. Hmmm.
71' Harley XLH Sportster with super rare aero kit.
Think they made less than 1 of them. |
Old Subaru wagon?
To me it looks like a Toyota. Corolla wagon, maybe.
