Almost fell for a scam today.....
 

Email from an acquaintance that happens to travel to hungary/europe occasionally:

Good Morning xxx, can you do me a favor?

My reply: Sure, how can I help?

Next email: My nieces birthday, I would like to get her an Itunes card, but I'm out of the country. I'll pay you when I get back. (**** minor alarm, this is weird, but so is she****)

My reply: Ok, how much and how should I send it?

Next email: One for $100, another for $50. Scratch off the codes on the front and send me a picture...... (**** All bells ringing. Can't believe I got sucked in this far****)

So I call her, husband answered, and yup, her email was hacked......

Thanks for the heads up...

Friend: can you do me a favor?

Me: Sure, anything as long as it doesn't involve money ;)
