End of driving season for me!!!

Put the Porsche away. Heading for hand surgery in the morning!😞.

Good luck with the surgery. I tucked them all away last weekend. I have the teener in a spot where I can get it easily if I need a quick fix , and we get a decent day here or there .
Winters in the Northeast are a bummer for lots of reasons

I put the hardtop on the cab. I'm good.

Hope the surgery goes well.

PCar season just starting here in TX.

Good luck with the hand surgery. Just recuperating from elbow surgery so I feel for ya.

As for "End of the Driving Season" for you, I'm sorry. :( Here, it just getting to were I don't have to turn the A/C on and can run the canyons with the windows open.

HOOT! You remind me of an old buddy who retired in Florida. He loves to call during winter to ask me how the weather is. Maybe I'll call him with the same question the next time a hurricane approaches Sarasota...

Don't mean to rub it in, but I don't see how people can live in the cold weather. Suffered through it in England in grad school. That was enough for me. I'd take hot summers over snowy winters all day long.

And we don't have either, (at least the summers are mostly mild). So-called "P-car season" is basically 365 days a year here. Except for leap years, then it's 366 days. :)

I hope that your surgery is a success and that you heel quickly. That's more important than which car you drive. :)

Good luck with the surgery.
I know what you mean. I finished bagging my cars on Sunday in preparation for my foot surgery. I’ll see them again in March.

My plates have been expired on my really nice 944 for 6 months now. I need to get it detailed and on to BAT. We could use the money for another DD, but I will probably use it on building my shop.

Put all the MC's away before Knee surgery Oct 23.. Changed my mind and ridden 3 times since. Snow in the hills and morning temps are mid 30's....

I am planning on a fun trip over to Arkansas to see the fall foliage and the best driving roads in the country. 55 mph speed limit but only a fool would try to go that fast through most of the curves, which are constant.

Denis, is it wise to tell non-Southern Californians about this? :D

Good luck with your surgery, 1975porsche!

1975porsche 11-04-2018 10:23 AM

Thanks for the well wishes. Surgery went well , just hurts like hell! And yes I know if no pictures it never happened !!! I have them if anybody needs proof. Lol

Jim Richards 11-04-2018 11:45 AM

Absent before/during/after pictures, I'm sure we'd all like to know about the performance upgrades your surgeon added, you know...while he was in there. :)

Me too. Saturday in Chicago was a beautiful day. I attended a clinic at the local Porsche dealer. I go a fuel leak (nothing leaking on the floor) I will deal with over the winter. The time change sucks too.

Best of luck with the surgery.

I just winterized my car
It consisted of topping off the windshield washer fluid

A little background, one year ago I was putting down hardwood floors at my daughters home. Also at the same time I had just gotten my progressive glasses. Lost the saw blade in the glasses, pretty much cut off my thumb!! The surgeon put the tendons, blood vessels nerves and the bone back together. After a year of Physiotherapy it still would not bend! Fast forward to Friday, opened it up again to remove the scar tissue. Hope it works this time around. First picture one year ago second picture is now. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1541378131.png
