95 years is a good run.

He had a great imagination and shared it with us.

onewhippedpuppy 11-12-2018 11:44 AM

Damn he was 95?! Pretty amazing and creative guy, RIP.

I’ve still got a box of Marvel comic books from the early 80s in storage somewhere.

Brando 11-12-2018 12:40 PM

Excelsior! A great influence on the comic and movie industry is gone.

I’ll give you $20 for it.

Kirby, Ditko, now Lee.

The end of the era.

Dang, I am WAY behind on a bunch of his movies. I need to have a Stan Lee marathon. :D

What would be cool is that if he had of filmed about 50 or so cameo's before his death so he could be inserted into all the upcoming films that will be released. He could live forever!

red-beard 11-12-2018 03:07 PM

My favorite cameo was actually in Mall Rats

Just was in Seattle and visited MoPop Museum. There was a great exhibit of how Stan Lee started Marvel. I highly recommend it to anyone that can go see it. He was quite remarkable in how he built the company and the characters.

Me too, love that movie!

WPOZZZ 11-12-2018 07:21 PM

Send him to Tahiti.

svandamme 11-14-2018 10:21 AM

Good run and a good ending too, he was active for a very long time well into his old age.

scottmandue 11-14-2018 12:47 PM

I loved the cameo's... we would be watching one of the movies and I would point "oh, oh, there he is!". My wife just looks at me like I'm nuts, also loved that he was always an ordinary guy in the cameo's.

And it is great that in the second half of his life he got recognition for his fantastic imagination.

911boost 11-14-2018 12:58 PM

I heard they had already filmed his cameo for the next Avengers movie.
