Great pic, Hugh. Enjoy your time for yourself.

Bet it's a little breezy there this afternoon. Great beach for walking aimlessly toward the horizon.
|
Wow, I need to take a trip out here sometime. Looks fantastic!

Took my wife for her first visit to Jalama last May. She knew of it and was aware of the prevailing winds which typically make it a bit cold. We left from Santa Ynez with the sky cloudy and breezy. By the time we reached Jalama, the sun was breaking through and this is what we saw.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1546010898.JPG
We were traveling with friends, all of whom had never been there. Had a Jalama Burger with fries as we enjoyed the progressively sunnier day. In a word, EPIC! |
Jalama is a special place. Grew up in Santa Barbara and lived for 25 years as an adult in Lompoc, just north of Jalama. MANY great memories with our kids and friends there. Yes, you can’t beat the burger and fries there!

Picture looks like a big crowd on Labor Day.
