I'm thinking an official super bowl white cane to the ref team and a seeing eye dog to the one that makes the worst call during the game :D

I like the blindfolds. Call it the bird box bowl

Wasn't Brady like a 6th round pick?

.

correct. 199th over all pick in the 6th round.
I wonder if any of the 198 priors are still playing?

Funny, I don't even remember which team that this happened against.
Prob the most amazing NFL game ever. (if a Patriot fan)

Belichik isn’t just a football genius. He’s a regular genius, too. Supposedly his IQ is estimated to be upwards of 150.

I believe it.

I don't know who made the call to let Brady go, but that person most definitely is not a genius.

The patriots were maxxed out on the salary cap and could not afford to pay Brady what he wanted. They spent way too much to build a team that could win superbowls and it did, but eventually the time came to pay the piper. Borrowed money from this year to pay for last year and the year before and so on. Balloon payments in contracts.

They offered Brady what they could but it wasn't enough. I heard they asked him to take another pay cut so they could keep decent players around him. Not verified.
He did just that last time around, but this time he said nope.
The GOAT shouldn't have to play for peanuts.
He left for greener pastures.

So ultimately the "person" responsible for letting Brady go is Roger Goodell. And I agree that he is far from a genius.

PS looosers hate winners :p

LOL he's like a Ninja, or a Jedi. A NinJedi.

stevej37 01-01-2021 01:40 PM

I realize it's only the Lions...but last Sunday he hung 348 yards and 4 TD's on them....in just the first half.
Game played at Detroit also.
