I remember when we took care of my uncle's German Shepherd long term while he went on a "walkabout." Most amazing dog ever, his name was Bash. The neighbor's across the court had a couple of Basset Hounds and when Louise would go into heat, Bash was a heat seeking missile. One day he got away and shot across the court and found Louise on their deck. He hadn't made it home yet, but he was excited enough to give the deck a treatment.

I do believe there is a "morning after" pill for dogs, call your vet.

The Pit Bull owner is on a fixed income. Is wanting to wait on the mutt to show that it's preggers before doing anything. She claims she wants to breed it so, getting it fixed is not in the cards. Since she let a dog out of the house that was in heat and it was on my property, I sure as hell not gonna pay for it.

There ARE some low cost vets that serve low income seniors locally....was just looking to see if the Amazon offered meds are effective and/or safe as a medical procedure. I can be a dick sometimes but looking to help.....at least in this case.

AND NO, she's not hot......

roll with the cards and get pick of the litter. especially if you're not gonna front the vet bill. lol
