I work for the State of Nevada, with the Purchasing / Receiving Dept for U.N.L.V.

I also work in Event Production doing concerts(loading the eguipment in, running the show, loading it out), sports(college Football,Basketball,,, AFL,XFL,NBA, NFR, PBR), motorsports(Monster Truck World Finels,Supercross World Finals, Moto X) for the last 14 years.

Industrial sales by day. Stainless and nickel alloys. At night a ship's chandler. The ship business breaks up the routine 8 to 5 grind, and provides the $ to play. I board 250-300 ships/yr. I have been accused of being a workaholic by virtually everyone I know.

Cisco network engineer for a software company. Wish I was a Porsche mechanic though...

I'm a lighting designer and do layouts for indoor / outdoor lighting projects. I'm on the computer for most of the day...thus the reason I am able to check in on Pelican so much. :) But I also do a lot of misc stuff around the office too.

It seems like a lot of people on this board are in computer related fields.

IT Storage Administrator / SAN admin for Mercedes-Benz USA (USA home office). Also do disaster recovery. Responsible for 11 Terabytes of disk space: it's a small to medium shop.

I'm hoping to move into the 'test drver' department, but no luck yet! :D

So, I've decided to start a new profession.
I'll be writing braille user manuals for the many SUV drivers. The need is apparently huge. :cool:

I work part time as a p.a. for my husband, a lawyer, and part time for Milu. No one is too sure what Milu really does for a living; the most popular view is trading in used babies coffins ;)

It's not a pleasant profession but someone has to do it. And, with the current economic climate, business is really quite good. Plus recycling is really very green!;)

By day i am a reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper, by night I am.. Oh wait right, i don't have super powers.. yet.

i'm in mobile electronics........audio/video/security and home multimedia, i've been doing it for 12 years proffesionally and the past couple years it's finally started to pay off financially (hence my 911 purchase last year:) ), our business also hasn't been too affected by the economy.....people HAVE to have audio/video in their cars:D

i am also part of a road racing team, we're currently stepping up to grand-am. we have a great team....my main function is everything "electrical" (the only thing they were lacking before i joined the crew) and we're a close knit group, we're going to be hard to beat :D
