Trade Show in Canada question. Anybody done this?

I only THOUGHT I was retired.

I wrote book about George Montgomery a few years ago and George has been taking them to car shows and selling them. He got an invitation to a show in London, Ontario and wants to take some books up to sell.
He will be taking about $2500 worth of books up and bringing back what he doesn't sell. I have a call into an import broker, but I thought I would run this past the brain trust to see if anyone here has had any similar experience.
