Dit Da Jow
Does Dit Da Jow really work?
My daughter had a complete thoracic spinal fusion on April 8th and her jujitsu sensei wants to apply dit da jow on her back and shoulder blades to speed up the healing process. Has anyone used this stuff and your opinions would be appreciated..thanks Steve |
If you believe in Qi and that this stuff actually stimulates it then go ahead, the ingredients don't seem harmful. BUT make sure your kid isn't allergic to any of the herbs. A good therapeutic massage is prolly just as good IMHO.

A message for someone who just had upper back surgery?

So no one's into alternative medicine? I'm not either to be honest..
She's definitely not ready for a tissue massage so that's out. Just trying to make her as comfortable as possible. She's done her entire recovery to this point with only tylenol. they prescribed oxycodone and valium but she preferred not to take those meds.. |

The important part right now is to make sure that it is healing properly with no infection.
Tylenol is a good option. |
Ask her doctor, not us... :)
