I've had some of his cds forever, but a 2-disc anthology has been a favorite for mebbe 20 years now. I gave my first copy to a dear departed friend and blues lover.....80 yr old black boogie queen....after driving back from a blues show in Charlotte years ago.

For several years she would thank me for turning her on to JJ Cale....but "she" just might have been hipper :)

I just listened to Rewind this morning...
then went on Amazon for a few more I missed along the journey....
