What a Nice Day!

Sunny, no wind and pushing 45 degrees.

And....I won $10 on a scratch-off ticket.

Beautiful here too. Temp is 60, visibility is 10 mi., air quality is great, pollen count is low, breeze is 3 mph. Rain moves in tomorrow for about three days at about 1.5 in. total. We went out to the desert a week + ago to see the flower bloom and may have to go out again soon. If we're lucky, we'll get a slight dusting of snow over the course of this coming storm.

^^^ Our average high is only 32 f for this time of year....so it won't last long.

My yard has about a foot of snow on it yet...but it's melting good today.

Horrible here. Really horrible.

It's mean to be mid summer but a storm came through and for 24 hours we have had winds up to 105mph. The poor house felt like an earthquake was hitting it. Minor damage such as a gate blown to bits, a garage door blown in, fence pales gone and everything covered in sand. But the roof stayed on.

^^^ Holy crap.....105 winds. Glad that it didn't take out your home.
I don't think mine would survive that.

Steve, something like 10 years ago we had a storm even windier than that, and a few houses did lose their roof. I thought mine was going to peel off, so after that I made steel brackets under the eves/soffits to hold it down. So I sleep a bit better knowing I've done that. At about 10pm there was a very weird sound so I went outside and so did the neighbour. He was yelling something about it's the house over there and pointing. I thought darn that's my rental. But luckily for me it was a three story house under renovation covered in scaffolding and a plastic bubble. Umm, not much plastic left this morning. My place is a wooden house so it just boogies about in a strong wind or earhquake then returns to normal.

That's a bad storm that ended up good...makes one feel good about precautions taken.
Home maintenance is so very important.
