I live 15 minutes from the factory.

I fully expect him to take all of the the federal, state, and local subsidies....and produce nothing.

I don't know how well they will do. Truck buyers are the most loyal around. Having Ford as an investor some my get branded as a Ford.

Their goal of 20,000 to 40,000 in 2021 is a huge stretch. It sounds like they have an empty building at the current time. I was on the ground floor on the project team on 3 large manufacturing Greenfield plants and one major expansion and they were all hell. I am guessing more like 2022.

Sadly, you are probably right.

I have been watching the E Truck scene for a few years now, I would never buy a new one, I will wait 2 years and get a depreciated used one. 70K is too much for me to pay for any car.

I do want one though, it is just a matter of when one that is viable comes out.

I actually toyed with stealing the wifes i3 and trying to make it a work vehicle, 90% of the time I am on pavement, that other 10% I could use my FJ Cruiser.
