She is a looker. Irish chick, though, not L.A. chick.

Medical science can't do what I'd like...I'd be happy to keep my 75 year old looks, just give me my 28 year old health status back.

Californication is as real as the woman in LA

BOOM!!!!!!!!

Took me a minute to come up with that, but props to me for coming up with it.

LA is the birthplace of the attack on woman. Hate my statement or maybe it will blow your mind. It is truth.

It doesn't "matter," I guess and of course it's a personal thing. I'm just curious what the message sent out is supposed to be, and what the objective is. It's like balding guys who grow a few weird long hairs out of the sides of their heads so they can comb them over. Might as well wear a neon sign that says "I'm bald and really hate it. Mock me, ladies."

I'll probably just use Keef's doc when the time comes ;)....

sc_rufctr 07-10-2019 04:00 AM

They do it because they they can. That doesn't mean they should.

Donatella Versace would have to be one of the worst examples. This is a flattering photo of her.
I truly feel bad for her.

javadog 07-10-2019 06:08 AM

Perhaps the worst case of this is the idiot New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein. My apologies if you are just about to have, or just have had, your breakfast.

Tammy Faye Bakker did it the old fashioned way :)

I hope I look as good as Keef some day.....but I just save my $ ;)

+1000
I'd settle for my health at 65.

flipper35 07-10-2019 09:01 AM

There are times where it is a health issue. A family member risked loosing her sight if she did not have her eye lids/bags fixed.

gordner 07-10-2019 09:11 AM

Hank's quote may be fictional, doesn't make it any less relevant. Fantastic show btw.

mepstein 07-10-2019 09:38 AM

All the surgery and they become 10-20 footers. Look good until you get close. They all get the same "mask" face from the fillers, nips, tucks and botox. End up looking like figures in a wax museum.

[QUOTE=RWebb;10518214]ok, well - a major gf I used to have went to Bev. Hills HS with JL Curtis, and swore that she was 'enhanced'

I saw her on a late night talk show back in the the day, and she said something to the effect that her boobs were enhanced and generating income that was putting her kids through college.

I'm in line for that one soon, have those congenital heavy eye lids that are getting worse w age. My mom had to have hers done around age 70, IIRC. If you have it done by someone good, it's barely noticeable. Someone bad and you look like you just saw a ghost, all the time.

I realize it's sometimes a health or reconstruction issue. I'm talking about purely elective surgeries.

The women in my life are gorgeous, and, to me, become more so as they age, build histories, and gain wisdom. I'd be horrified if one of them felt the need to deny that.

This thread reminds me of this scene from Escape From L.A.
