Kangaroo runs wild in Adelaide!

So yea it's that bad... I hope things return to normal soon.

My home town.

I don't understand why people don't slow down when there is clearly a potential collision at hand.

He can really move it.

Adelaide is a very nice place. Lots of room, very tidy and clean, and no wind blowing. Unfortunately Peter was out of town when I was there for the day.

Well that driver figured he had right of way, and he refuses to yield to some an unlicensed obstacle. The car driver was clearly not paying attention to obstacles.

He was only cruising. They are super efficient. At full speed they are a site to behold.

"The comfortable hopping speed for a kangaroo is about 21–26 km/h (13–16 mph), but speeds of up to 71 km/h (44 mph) can be attained over short distances, while it can sustain a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) for nearly 2 km (1.2 mi). The faster a kangaroo hops, the less energy it consumes (up to its cruising speed)."

Adelaide looks like a ghost town...

I have a friend that lives there... haven't talked to him since all this Covid crap started.

I just read up on them. Top end of 44 mph is impressive.

It's almost like a dystopian movie.
At the very end there's a guy walking top right.
If I was that guy I'd be making sure that the beast was moving away from me, not seeking revenge for the idiot driver.

Man!!!! I barely missed the luckiest cottontail bunny this morning. He ran across the road, then back toward the Cayman. Huge swerve, and partial lockup in the sand in the gutter. My own dog went flying into my dashboard. The little rabbit made it to safety but just barely. I've lost track of the number of cars, pets, and objects that I've had to swerve and jump on the brakes to avoid. Luckily I haven't hit anything yet.
