Please Support Coral seeding and breeding. Reefs love you
As an avid diver, and scuba instructor, I've witnessed large spawns of corals.
Spores and malesperm . I've also seen desert zones of dead corals, acres and acres. new science. I salute them During a coral spawn , over 20 years, This donation foundation nets this large spawn, or .0001% anyways of it. they net it. let it start to grow. bring it into their coral farm. then go out and replant a reef. WAyyyyyyyyy Cool these guys are getting a donation of mine, and maybe even in my Will. https://www.barrierreef.org/science-with-impact/baby-coral-breakthrough

one of my dives on a remote fiji island.
won some awards for this vid of mine. only 10% of the world even snorkels, 90% are ignorant to what lives underwater. proud of my lighting and macro work. try shooting this upside down under a ledge at a 100 foot deep.

Absolutely beautiful video, Rusty Heap!
You are able to show the beauty, variety, and exotic wonder of life on the reefs of pristine tropic waters, so well! From the group movement of the damsel fish in and out of the coral. To the amazingly sensitive clams, how did you get so close and have them stay open? The dance of the clownfish in their anemones. And so much more. The fantastic coral varieties both soft and hard in pristine mature form. Bula Vinaka Fiji, your waters are a treat! Rusty, check out "Hana Naia" Live aboard boat for another great drivers experence of Fiji. Cheers Richard Ps. Beautifully filmed, edited, great music fitted in very well, superb! My friends call me, Top

Turk and Caicos, particularly Salt Cay are very cognizant of saving coral. I was just there in May, what beauty can be found on the reef.

There is some interesting research on coral growth in Kaneohe Bay Oahu.
The rapid rate of growth happening there is rewritting the book on natural coral growth rates. Just want to bump this thread so others have another chance to check out Rusty Heap's Beautiful video. Go back and click on his link! Cheers Richard Last edited by tevake; 07-31-2019 at 06:33 AM.. |

In Vanuatu they cut a canal through the reef as part of their new pier. I snorkeled the area about a year ago and there was new coral growing over the rocks and the pier. I think it had only been in for a few years.
