That hoverboard guy made it this time
 
Couldn't find the other thread talking about his first time that failed, but apparently he worked 16 hours a day to rebuild his hoverboard and he was able to cross the English channel in about 20 minutes.

I applaud the determination! Those stupid machines that "hover" six inches and hardly move...meh, whatever. Going 87mph across the English channel at 500'...now we're talking!
