You guys are some smart fellers...tell me this...

Why does my bottle of generic yellow hand soap...

...have an expiration date (it says 01/2020, which is quickly approaching...):

Will it not clean after that date? Does it become poisonous then? Do I need to dispose of it correctly? What if there's some soap still in the dispenser after that date, do I need to purge it? Will I need acetone to clean things properly?

For the luvagod someone help me!!

Seeing as it has an "antibacterial" component/active ingredient, there is probably a mandatory (FDA) expiration date.
Most antibacterial stuff is pretty aggressive though, and can be brutal on your hands if used regularly.
If you wash your hands properly with "normal" soap, you should be just fine. YMMV...

But, my soap does have Benzalkonium Chloride. So, I guess they haven't banned that yet, despite your Sky Is Falling link!

I'll mix some whiskey in there, that will kill whatever was going to kill me...

Pre-emptive killing. That's legal, right? Killing non-living things so they don't kill me?

Mike might even end up with blowing bubbles from both ends, if he uses enough of the mix!

there's two types of toilet soaps. one that kill the germs (yours pictured), and normal that washes them away. FDA says there's no benefit of use of one over the other... so use it until it's gone. Unless it becomes the viscosity of peanut butter... But you may have bigger problems by then...

That's what happens when you don't follow directions and attempt to administer the elixir with your hands instead of the proper tool for the job!

My last job was working in a factory that made this sort of stuff (Unilever). Ha, I don't think it's going to go off.

Me personally, I use good old, old fashioned bars of hand soap. Avoid the God awful chemicals that go into this stuff.

Ethyl alcohol?! Lols

on a side note. If you put a little salt into a bottle of hand sanitizer. I promise you won't go blind, die... Or something... should you drink it
