I have no sympathy for your addiction or anyone's and never claimed to...as it is your problem...but if you, like many others...choose to include me in that habit against my wishes, you make it my problem (just as you did in this thread). Obviously, if my pointing out that some folks can give a crap less that they share their stinking habit with the rest of us angers you...then it must have hit home. Personally, my assumption was that you and others here were not offenders...but, apparently I was wrong about you.

I post my opinion...just like you. Don't be such a snowflake just because we disagree. I could care less if you have an addiction or not (as long as you don't force me to participate in any way). The fact that I prefer to avoid the pollution expelled by inconsiderate vapers/smokers in public should not bother you a bit...unless that is something you do yourself. If I wanted to smoke and smell like crap, I could do so on my own. Believe me, I am not the only one that is annoyed by secondhand smoke/vapor. I am similarly bothered by people that walk right into me on the sidewalk every day...because they are too stupid or inconsiderate to stop reading their phone and texting when they walk. Take two parking spaces or park in a handicapped spot...the same. Do you do this type thing too? Getting even angrier?

I never asked you to respect me...I just asked and prefer that you would not post about me or my family as soon as you disagree with something I post here regarding any given topic. It is not only rude and childish, but against forum rules...but always the go-tactic here in OT for anyone that dares to disagree with them.

I am not sure what my bank account has to do with this (or how you feel qualified to post about it's contents), but there are a lot of folks here that have a lot more assets than I do (maybe you)...as I started with nothing. I am pleased with my investment skills and have shared enough here that if you followed my lead, you are doing pretty well yourself (although I must assume from your remarks and personal attacks, that is not the case). Don't blame me...I told you exactly what I was doing (offered my assistance).

Bank account? Sick of the insurance pool crap. If anything, vaping has significantly reduced my long term health care costs. What really ticks me off is those here who preach the insurance pool BS. Let me ask you how many cheese burgers you eat in a year, steaks, you like butter? Ever drive over the speed limit? I think you get the point...life is all risk

And you didn’t offer me help. I asked a specific question. You don’t vape and know nothing about the subject

That’s like someone posting a question about how do I perform an oil change on my motorcycle and then me going on there and preaching how deadly motorcycles are blah blah. Can you see how irritating that is?

If I had started a thread that was entitled , hey what are your thoughts about vaping? Then sure, fire away

But instead your came here and preached in your high and mighty self righteous way that really irks me

I’m sure your a great guy in person. But here, you come across as someone who believes he is living life the only correct way and those that are not, you see as a threat to your health, wealth and happiness for some reason

If anything, you should be happy that the modern world no longer allows smoking on airplanes and basically anywhere else.

I posted my opinion on vaping like others did. You did not attack them, only me. In fact, you were polite to them, didn't personally attack them or their family...their relative wealth, previous posts, personality, etc.

Anything after your personal attack is your own fault.

And yes, I did give advice. My advice was that forcing others to breathe second hand smoke/vapor will lead to little sympathy from voters/politicians when the government outlaws doing so (just as they did with public smoking)...so those who want ready availability of the material you started the thread about (and associated devices) should police their own.

If you don't do what I said annoyed me...then you should have had no problem with my post. Surely you are not encouraging people (maybe children) that read here to start smoking/vaping (which technical advice regarding cool gadgets seems to imply). My post that you found so offensive still seems pretty benign to me. Read it again:

Yes. I am very happy that I no longer have to endure smokers in restaurants, on aircraft, in cars, at work...or clean ashtrays and pick up butts as I had to do for decades. Those were some pretty darned inconsiderate people. But, as addicts, they just didn't care, or couldn't help themselves. As stated, my advice would be not to start.
