Recommendations for video camera for bicycle and motorcycle?

Looking for any input for a video camera for riding my bicycle and also my motorcycle. Would a helmet mount be the best approach?

I haven't done it; I know several who have and GoPro seems to be the ubiquitous choice of gear. I've seen a variety of mounts but most are either helmet or handlebar mount.

My wife has a GoPro mounted to her helmet. She’s on her TTR125 and has over 4.5 miles of trails.
