Well, they did introduce this Covid pandemic we've got going on. When's the last time you experienced one of those events? Top that, beeotch!

It's no surprise that the Chinese "aquire" our technology. What pisses me off are the American workers who supply it to them.

Treasonous scum - all of them. I’d love to see a few people convicted and sentenced accordingly.

Why should China create or innovate when it’s so much easier to just steal? Heck, we practically invite it!

unclebilly 09-26-2020 05:45 AM

So what did China do on the dark side of the moon anyway?

Yeah, but who gets to clean THAT up?

The vacuum of space is great for cleaning.

My take is it's a problem of arrogance. Our politicians & government officials considered our tech prowess and larger economy so much greater for so long, they dismissed the problem as insignificant until it wasn't anymore.

It's not American workers, it's American C-suites. Bonuses all around for reducing costs and increasing share price by giving Chinese companies access to our technology.

American workers?

There is a whole 'nuther conversation there about leakage.

There is no such thing as the dark side of the moon. All sides get sunlight. We on Earth only see one side of the moon.

It still amazes me that only Americans have walked on the moon, 50 YEARS ago. No human has been back.

Only the USA has successfully landed a robot on Mars, and driven it around via remote control.

One thing for sure, the Lockheed "Skunk Works" have been busy all those years since they finished the engineering on the SR71! Wonder if they have achieved SSTO (single stage to orbit) yet? If any one doesn't believe that there are hypersonic fighters and bombers tucked away somewhere, I'll take that bet!

Maybe Politicians can be called "workers"?

I supposed next you are going to expect me to believe that the earth isn't flat?

Correct. There is no "dark side" to the moon.
The moon's axis of rotation is such that only one side of the moon faces earth as the moon orbits about earth. The other side, the so called dark side, never faces the earth, but it does get sunlight.

OK, I should have posted it in green. My major in College was Meteorology/Environmental Science and all of us belonged to the Flat Earth Society. ;)

I wonder how that happened. The rotation of the moon is exactly correct for us to only see one side of it in perpetuity.

Por_sha911 09-27-2020 06:11 PM

There is no "dark side" but there is a "far side" of the moon that always faces away from earth. It is a problem of terminology as opposed to astronomy. Every meteorologist who is a card carrying member of the Flat Earth Society understand this.
